Before heading to review, I would like to thank the publisher for giving me a chance to read this beautiful book. At the first glance, I felt that it is a love story but it is actually more than just a love story. The blurb of this book is quite impressing making me pick this book as my next read. So let’s check what beholds inside this book.
Anshuman Kale aka Anshu has always been an introvert and studious boy. After shifting to a new place, he meets Indira Kelkar aka Indu, who is his landlord’s daughter. Contrary to him, Indu is a tomboy who loves to live a carefree life.
Indu never gives any attention to Anshu but one day a missed school bag creates an opportunity for their friendship. Despite having different tastes, they become good friends and their families too.
With each passing day, their friendship becomes stronger but one day a boy comes into the life of teenager Indu. He is 5 years elder to her and Anshu feels a bad aura around him. Indu madly loves him. Anshu tries to talk about this to Indu but she is not ready to hear a single word against her love.
Things move on, and everybody becomes busy in their life. Then an event happens which separates Anshu and Indu.
After many years, Anshu is a successful businessman in Melbourne. And he is about to get married to the love of his life, Alisha. The wedding date is approaching and at the same time, he gets a call from his old friend.
What his friend tells him makes Anshu take the next available flight to Mumbai. Once a carefree, vivacious and pretty girl, Indu is now waiting to hear her euthanasia appeal.
Now Anshu has only one goal in his life to avert the decision of Indu. Will he be successful? What happened to Indu? Will all these go to affect his love life? Can Indu gain her confidence again?
