This book comes as a review copy from the publisher so at first, I would like to thanks them for giving me a chance to read and review this book. I agreed to review this book just because of its title and blurb. Due to various things in personal life, it took me long to finish this book. But finally, on New Year, I manage to finish this book. So let’s check more about this book.
Set in the future era and a fictional place called as Kashwarg, (represent Kashmir) this book opens up on an interesting note where a wounded girl is found by someone. The girl has been brutally beaten and she is not in the condition to explain anything. She just wants to meet her ‘prince’ but nobody knows who is this prince? Nobody knows who she is? Where she came from? Who are her parents?
The whole of the Kashwarg united to get the justice for this girl. They demanded to the government that the culprit should be arrested soon. The government had to deploy the army to keep the situation under control.
On the other hand, the man who saved her is Aryaman, a member of the terrorist organization. He also wants to get the justice for the girl and starts detecting in his own way.
The government creates a committee to investigate this case. This committee includes people from Siran (represent India). The girl is named as Preksha. They also try to get the fact of Preksha’s condition.
The unrest in the country is increasing and everybody wants to see the culprit of Preksha.
With this present story, the story moves into past where you will find end number of characters and plots. These past events are the reason of present.
Will she ever get justice? Is she a puppet or victim? Who is her culprit? What will happen to the Kashwarg?
The author has written some excellent sentences. But the story is not fast paced and doesn’t wake interest in the mind of readers. The narration is good but doesn’t interest you.
This book is very good on a starting point and arouses the interest of readers. But as soon as it progresses it loses its grip on the main storyline. The author has tried to put so many things that it bounces off from the mind of readers. The story starts from present then suddenly moves to past. There are so many characters in the book that you keep on wondering who this is and who is that? There is end number of plots and subplots and sometimes I felt that what I am reading. Everything happens so sudden that readers keep thinking when it happens. This book is certainly not for me.
