‘Never Too Late’, a contemporary love story, is a book I received from the publisher in exchange of an honest review, for which I would like to thank them. 🙂 The cover of the book is enticing, designed against a bright red background. I began reading the book without reading its excerpt on the back of the cover and the content turned out to be quite unexpected.
The story revolves around a young girl named Pramela, who is born into a rich family and has never experienced struggles in her life. As she grows up, the beautiful young lady falls in love with a young guy, whose only intentions are to usurp her wealth. As she is set to marry him, unaware of his real intentions, her life takes a severe turn. Her father dies of a heart attack, leaving behind none of his wealth. Soon, Pramela is forced to abandon her house and notices her boyfriend’s true colours.
Amid the crisis, Tarun, her family’s solicitor who is deeply in love with her, stands by her side and supports and guides her in her every decision. A homeless Pramela is then offered assistance and love by many people around her, both known and unknown. Gradually, she gets accustomed to the life of a middle-class man and struggles to earn a living.
But will she ever find the love of her life? Will she ever understand the true love of Tarun? Read the book to know!
The book is written in a very simple language and hence is a quick read. The story is woven in an effective way that keeps the reader glued till the end.
The book offers a modern, contemporary love story that most of us face in today’s world. Pramela’s indecisiveness about her life and the attitude of going with the flow is what helps the reader connect with her and her life. It is a beautiful tale of struggle, love and friendship.
