Daisy had no idea what was in store for her when she uncovered the priceless reward concealed in a miscellaneous bottle; a super sexy genie that would pull the rugs below her feet.

Khalil Muwahid, the genie owed Daisy his gratitude for freeing him from the trap. He generously asked her for three wishes without holding any grudges against her. Gradually there was a strong connection between them, the bond of love.

Also, the rules of Djinn world were amended for their love, where Daisy wasn't supposed to ask for the third wish since they could be together, everlastingly.

BUT on the horns of Dilemma, Darren, Daisy's best friend's life was at threat. Does she use the last wish to save Darren? Or does she save her love?

Introduction:

The copy of this book was provided me by the author in exchange for an honest review. So at first, I would like to thank her. πŸ™‚ Β Who doesn’t want a genie? Like we had seen in the Aladdin, who can fulfill our wishes. After reading the blurb of the book I was quite amazed thinking how anyone can fall in love with a genie. (For me genie is always the genie of Aladdin :P) but here the author has created an unusual plot. Let’s check it out.

Plot summary:

The story is set in the Canada, where Daisy is broken by the death of her grandmother. Her grandmother is the sole parent Daisy has ever loved since her parents are divorced and she is nurtured by her grandma. Losing her was the biggest loss in Daisy’s life.

Daisy’s grandmother has left a scroll saying her to open her treasure box. Knowing that this is the last wish of her grandma, she founds a beautiful bottle in treasure box which accidentally slips from her hand and broke into pieces. This is where Daisy meets her genie.

His name is Khalil and he asks Daisy to grant three wishes so that he can be finally free. But during all these Khalil started loving her and she also started loving him. He does everything which pleases Daisy. Slowly and steadily she overcomes from the grief of her grandmother. For their love sake, the rules of jinn world get changed in a condition that she will never ask her third wish.

The story takes an unpredictable turn when Daisy’s best friend Darren diagnosed with Cancer. He is struggling with death and life.Β  Daisy, having granted her two wish already decides to use her third wish. But if Daisy asks the third wish then she will lose Khalil and if she doesn’t ask then she will lose Darren.

Read this book to know which decision Daisy takes? And the story doesn’t end here and I am eagerly waiting for the next part.

Writing style:

The book is written with so much ease that you feel like you are listening to a fairy tale from your grandmother. The pace of the story is very nice and you can finish this book in good three hours.

My perception:

I simply loved this story. What I love most about this story is beautiful love between Khalil and Daisy. The author has beautifully written this book with amazing narration skill.Β  This book is full of emotions, love, and hope. There are very few characters in this book but the author has brilliantly developed a story round them. This book is a simple and adorable where you will find yourself dwelling in the book’s scenario. This is a light read, which can enlighten your weekend. Overall a perfect and beautiful read. Do not miss it!

First of all, I would like to thanks @writersmelon and @harpercollinsin for the copy. 😊The first thing which attracts me towards this book is the alluring book cover. The contrasting use of black and white colors with two human figures on the bicycle made me read this book.
I have never read any dystopian novel before thus the concept of this book was totally new to me. This book starts on a very interesting note which makes you flip the pages. .

You must have read various stories revolving around the Kashmir issue. This book also depicts the same essence but with a different twist. There is no doubt that leaving our home in few hours is the most painful experience in the world. This becomes more septic when one has to suffer without committing any mistake. The title of this book is catchy and gives a ray of hope. I would like to thank the #fingerprintpublishing for giving me a chance to read this beautiful book.Β πŸ’œ

Love is a feeling which cannot be expressed in the words. From many years, poets and writers are penning about this. Over the time, the definition of love changed. If we see the present situation then there are very few people who love each other unconditionally.  Living in the modern era when the other things take importance, do we have time to explore and understand love? The author of this book tried to give us some influential love sutra through the various stories. Thank you so much dear author for giving me a chance to read and review your debut work. 😊

First of all, I would like to thank the publisher for providing a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. The first thing which attracts the readers is the enchanting book cover, adorned with magenta colour and the palm of Buddha. This book cover can attract even a non-reader. After reading the blurb and genre, I was quite skeptical about this book but to my surprise, it turned out to be one of best non-fiction books of this year. .
