“There is another city right under our city and it comes up only when you and I are together. Only you and I know about it and only you and I get to experience it. It keeps itself hidden from the rest of the world. And that is where I live.” He said
“And what happens when you’re not with me?” She asked.
“I evaporate.” He smiled.

"Laced with the unimaginable and yet the possible, White Noise makes for a compelling read." - SUHEL SETH

Introduction:

The first thought came when I hold this book is that the story of this book would be different. And when I started reading this book, I realize that my guess was right. Congratulation! Dear author and thank you so much for sending me a signed copy of your debut book. 🙂

Plot summary:

This book is divided into three sections and the story is narrated from the point of view of three people, Me, Her and Him.

The story starts with a girl falling in love with a bearded one and how they come closer in the duration of time. They watch the movie together, read a book together and spend quality time exploring the city together. Having a terrible past, she is very happy to find her man. She is in love and when you are in love you don’t question, you don’t think you just go with the flow.

Slowly and steady as she falls in love with him, she starts giving the life’s rein to him, without realizing anything.

This is the one side of the story and we all know each one sees the story in different aspect so this story is retold by ‘Her’ and ‘Him’ sections differently taking into a depth of the events.

I don’t want to disclose the mystery but this book has a very unpredictable end.

Writing style:

This is the strongest part of this book, the author has used such a beautiful metaphors and philosophical wisdom that sometimes you smile, some time you lost in thoughts. The narration is very smooth and you can finish this book in one sitting and mostly in 3 hours.

My perception:

This book is the shortest thriller I have ever read. The author has used a concept and narrated it so impeccably that you don’t feel like this book is written by a debut author. There are many instances in the book, which makes you rethink. This book includes profound wisdom. And yes, we ourselves have the power to destroy ourselves. This book goes on simply making you wonder what is exactly going to happen. The author has not even given the name of the protagonists. And the book ends with an unexpected twist. This is what makes this book a gripping read. This book is very riveting and the writing makes it more compelling. You shouldn’t miss this book if you are a lover of excellent books.

Until next time, Keep reading 🙂

First of all, I would like to thanks @writersmelon and @harpercollinsin for the copy. 😊The first thing which attracts me towards this book is the alluring book cover. The contrasting use of black and white colors with two human figures on the bicycle made me read this book.
I have never read any dystopian novel before thus the concept of this book was totally new to me. This book starts on a very interesting note which makes you flip the pages. .

You must have read various stories revolving around the Kashmir issue. This book also depicts the same essence but with a different twist. There is no doubt that leaving our home in few hours is the most painful experience in the world. This becomes more septic when one has to suffer without committing any mistake. The title of this book is catchy and gives a ray of hope. I would like to thank the #fingerprintpublishing for giving me a chance to read this beautiful book. 💜

Love is a feeling which cannot be expressed in the words. From many years, poets and writers are penning about this. Over the time, the definition of love changed. If we see the present situation then there are very few people who love each other unconditionally.  Living in the modern era when the other things take importance, do we have time to explore and understand love? The author of this book tried to give us some influential love sutra through the various stories. Thank you so much dear author for giving me a chance to read and review your debut work. 😊

First of all, I would like to thank the publisher for providing a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. The first thing which attracts the readers is the enchanting book cover, adorned with magenta colour and the palm of Buddha. This book cover can attract even a non-reader. After reading the blurb and genre, I was quite skeptical about this book but to my surprise, it turned out to be one of best non-fiction books of this year. .
