11 Reasons, Why I love Kindle?

Tags:

Being a voracious reader I always dreamt of owning a Kindle. So 4 months ago, I finally bought a Kindle Paperwhite. Since then my love for kindle is increasing day by day. So in this post, I am going to tell you about reasons, why I love my kindle? 🙂

1.  Portable and lightweight:

Amazon Kindle is very compact and lightweight. You can easily read it by one hand without any hurdle. The compact size of the kindle is very cute and it can easily fit in your handbag’s pocket.

2. Forget stress to eyes:

Before buying Kindle I used to read books on Kindle app through my mobile but honestly saying, after certain hours my eyes start itching and I have to stop reading. With Kindle Paperwhite this thing won’t happen as the screen of Kindle looks like a Paper and you can read for all day long without stressing your eyes.

3. Read in day or night:

In your phone, you can’t read in daylight but with Kindle, you can read outdoor as well as indoor easily. As I am not a night reader so I have purchased Kindle Paperwhite which doesn’t have inbuilt light thus I can’t read at night but if you are a night reader then you should buy Kindle Paperwhite with built in light.

4. E-Books are economical:

I love the idea of e-books as they are way cheaper than Paperback/hardback. You can easily buy famous titles at a very cheap price. There are also many good titles free on kindle. The Kindle monthly deal is simply a perk for bookworms. Apart from this, Kindle Unlimited is a virtual library where you can read many good books at a very low price.

5. Easy Highlighting and sharing:

I think every bookworm has struggled with it when you love any quote line from the book but you don’t find any pencil to underline it. On the second hand, there are some people like me who hate scribbling in books. For this, Kindle is a very great device where you can easily highlight your favorite line and easily share it on Goodreads, Facebook and twitter.

6. Find meaning easily:

Every Kindle comes with a dictionary and access to Wikipedia. You just have to click on the words and the meaning pops up. On my personal note, this feature of Kindle has helped me to improve my vocabulary.

7. Holds More than thousand of books:

Kindle Paperwhite can hold more than a thousand books. It could be your best companion while traveling and when you are running out of bookshelf space.  Currently, I have 29 books on my Kindle.

8. Easy browsing and Purchasing:

You can search end numbers of books on Kindle device. You can purchase, download and read the book instantly.

9. Great Battery Life:

Another good thing about Kindle is it has very long battery life. The charging can be last longer up to 2 weeks with constant reading. However, you should put your kindle on Airplane mode when do not require a wi-fi connection.

10. Improves reading speed:

Kindle comes with a feature where you can see how many time left in the chapter or in the book. Because of this, I always find that I manage to finish the book quicker on Kindle.

11. The beautiful shut off image:

It is a very small thing to like but I really want to write it here that whenever you switch off the kindle you get to see a new magnificent image.

So these are my reason to love Kindle. Do you own Kindle or plan to buy one? Which feature do you love most? Do let us know in comment section below. 🙂

Happy Reading 🙂

Here is the blurb of the book :

Sonal Kapoor is a reserved, hardworking entrepreneur running a florist boutique in London. She fights a paradoxical battle between her responsibilities at work and her only family there - her mother. And caught in between these is a story of Sonal's past - a terrible event that got her to flee India. Scars from her troubled past continues to manifest in multitude of ways, reminding her constantly about that horrific event.
Serendipity happens when Dr. Ryan Percy enters her life and Sonal is challenged in ways she had never imagined. Ryan turns out as everything from Sonal's quintessential definition of the man of her dreams - BUT, Ryan too comes to the party with his own baggage from the past. A pivotal piece in the jigsaw of their lives appears to be missing. Could their puzzling lives be ever completed by each other? Do they complete or destroy each other? .

  • #reading a book is a fun, it simply opens up a new realm where you find peace, sorrow, and happiness. But there comes a certain time in life when the readers don’t just want to read, they can’t simply proceed from 10 pages. So if this thing is happening with you then you are definitely suffering from #readersblock This is similar to the #writersblock but where writer’s block is an acceptable aspect, reader’s block is not.

Reader’s block can happen when you read some really pathetic book (Yes! It happens with me 😐) or are mentally distracted. However, there are many reasons but these two are the primary reasons.

If you are also suffering from reader’s block then do not worry you are not alone! I have shared some easy tips to revive your #readinghabit 📚The link is the bio 📚

#bookreview of #jaya an illustrated retelling of #mahabharat by @devduttmyth 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
This is the second book of the Devdutt Pattanaik I have read after Sita: An illustrated retelling of Ramayana. I have already read various retelling of Mahabharata; however, this retelling is totally different from others.
This book is not simply the retelling but a treasure of lessons. The author has accumulated various stories which are scattered across the country and given a meaningful essence to the readers
