Each one of us loves discounts, don’t we? Whether it is about buying clothes, grocery or even books, getting discounts just enhances the excitement of shopping on the whole! So, that is what I was looking for when I stumbled across a website named BookOkay.com. My main intent was to compare the prices of books on major e-commerce sites so that I could find the website offering the best discount and shop from there. And guess what? BookOkay just made things easier!

So, we are in an age where there are tons of e-commerce sites and more are being born every day. No doubt, each one of them seeks to target maximum customers and make their products sell. But, being a customer is all about finding the best product at the lowest possible price.

Remember how we bargain for clothes, groceries and almost everything every time we go shopping? It is a matter of fact that we can simply walk out of a store when we are not thoroughly convinced with the price of a particular product and look for the same elsewhere. I always wanted to have that liberty in online shopping too!

When I came across BookOkay.com, I instantly decided to try out its services. I have previously used websites such as Junglee.com which help to compare the prices of products online and BookOkay works in a very similar way.

The home page and interface of the website looks very simple and easy. At the top, you get a search box so that you can enter the title of the book or author you are looking for.

search-box

If you haven’t made up your mind on a particular book and are open to trying out different genres, you also get suggestions so you can pick up the book that appeals to you the most.

suggestions

The search results lead you to a page where you can find a short summary of the book’s plot and an analysis of the book’s price on different e-commerce sites. They cover all the popular sites such as Amazon, Flipkart, Snapdeal, Rediff, Paytm, Crossword, Infibeam, etc. What’s better is that they even show you the delivery charges of every site so you can add them up with the actual price of the book to calculate the total amount you would be paying. This is what makes it super-easy and absolutely helpful for customers.

price-comparison

Just out of curiosity, I have searched multiple books on this site and compared their prices and, I must say, they are absolutely accurate. It simply makes your online book search easy and reliable.

Do try out this site the next time you buy a book online. You might just end up saving some of your hard-earned bucks! 🙂

  • Just started this book today and finished 100 pages in one go. Quite an interesting read till now. ☺

Here is the blurb of the book :

Sonal Kapoor is a reserved, hardworking entrepreneur running a florist boutique in London. She fights a paradoxical battle between her responsibilities at work and her only family there - her mother. And caught in between these is a story of Sonal's past - a terrible event that got her to flee India. Scars from her troubled past continues to manifest in multitude of ways, reminding her constantly about that horrific event.
Serendipity happens when Dr. Ryan Percy enters her life and Sonal is challenged in ways she had never imagined. Ryan turns out as everything from Sonal's quintessential definition of the man of her dreams - BUT, Ryan too comes to the party with his own baggage from the past. A pivotal piece in the jigsaw of their lives appears to be missing. Could their puzzling lives be ever completed by each other? Do they complete or destroy each other? .

  • #reading a book is a fun, it simply opens up a new realm where you find peace, sorrow, and happiness. But there comes a certain time in life when the readers don’t just want to read, they can’t simply proceed from 10 pages. So if this thing is happening with you then you are definitely suffering from #readersblock This is similar to the #writersblock but where writer’s block is an acceptable aspect, reader’s block is not.

Reader’s block can happen when you read some really pathetic book (Yes! It happens with me 😐) or are mentally distracted. However, there are many reasons but these two are the primary reasons.

If you are also suffering from reader’s block then do not worry you are not alone! I have shared some easy tips to revive your #readinghabit 📚The link is the bio 📚

#bookreview of #jaya an illustrated retelling of #mahabharat by @devduttmyth 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
This is the second book of the Devdutt Pattanaik I have read after Sita: An illustrated retelling of Ramayana. I have already read various retelling of Mahabharata; however, this retelling is totally different from others.
This book is not simply the retelling but a treasure of lessons. The author has accumulated various stories which are scattered across the country and given a meaningful essence to the readers
